                In rats subjected to laparotomy, intra-gastric administration of CE stimulated wound healing. This effect suggests an increasement in rats of protein synthesis caused by CE (13).

B. Clinical investigations

Significant acceleration of callus formation, improved texture of the callus and improved calcium deposition were demonstrated at this stage.
